Orchard Grass (Dactylis glomerata) (1)

Orchard Grass, also named cat grass due to its popularity for use with domestic cats, is native throughout most of Europe, temperate Asia, and northern Africa. It can be found in meadows, pastures, roadsides, and rough grasslands.

Orchard grass grows in dense perennial tussocks to 20 to 140 cm tall, with grey-green leaves 20 to 50 cm long and up to 1.5 cm broad.

[I assume the grass in my photo is orchard grass. It has no flowers jet, and I am not a gras specialist.]
