Despite wind and rain, the Dutch island of Vlieland has a special charm, especially in the fall. Every ray of sunshine is gratefully received. Bad weather is accepted, we have adjusted to it.
There is only one village on the whole island: Oost-Vlieland. It consists of a small church and a few alleyways, behind it is a forest that changes color in autumn. At the edges of the forest, it merges into the faded brown red of the dunes. Above all this, there is a secretive factory that produces thick, puffy clouds that only exist at the North Sea.
Would it be possible to spend the rest of my life here?
