This year, we stayed in the Vakantiehuis Pirola (Duinkersoord 68, Vlieland). The house is located in the dunes close to the North Sea beach. It offers space for 6 people and is comfortably furnished. The vacation house has a large plot with several seating areas. We felt very much at home in Pirola.
I particularly liked the flotsam and jetsam art that we discovered in the house. The pheasant shown in today’s photograph was glued together from shells and feathers. It hung above my bed.
