The route I took to Belchen summit was in large parts a constant back and forth on a zigzag path on the mountains prior to it. The trail was steep and covert with a thick layer of autumn leaves. Thus, I had to be careful not to stumble over rocks and tree roots hidden underneath.
Yes, that was exhausting. However, I enjoyed the soft light, the smell of autumn and the rustling of the leaves very much.
