Last September, I spent two weeks with my family and friends on the Dutch North Sea island of Vlieland. We have been doing this every year for a long time.
Time seems to stand still on Vlieland. This is why I like it. There is little sign of the hustle and bustle of our world there.
Vlieland has only one small village; the main part of the island is pure nature. The photos of Vlieland that I will be posting here over the next few days show this impressively.
