I took the photo of a rainbow on Vlieland’s North Sea Beach. I consider myself lucky when I see one; it does not happen often.
A rainbow is only visible when the sun is shining during a rain shower. The outer edge is red, followed by orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, with smooth transitions between them.
