The summit of Feldberg is marked by a copper wind rose, surrounded by benches and information boards. The circular place is enclosed by a low wooden fence, which provides shelter against the wind and keeps the grazing cattle out.
Unless the weather is very nasty, the summit of Feldberg is rarely deserted. It is a popular destination for mountain bikers in the summer, cross-country skiers in winter, and hikers and walkers all year round.
Today’s image, showing the copper wind rose on Feldberg summit, concludes my photo series. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
