In my grandfather’s garden, there was a small chicken coop with a rooster and about a dozen chickens. I fondly remember feeding them, collecting eggs, or just watching them.
For many years, I dreamed of having chickens of my own, but it never happened. I was always busy with lots of other things. Today, I am happy when I get to watch chickens for a while. I don’t need to own them to enjoy it. Unfortunately, as a city dweller, I rarely get to see chickens anymore.
