Grey Herons are unmistakable: tall, with long legs, a long beak and grey, black and white feathering.
Today’s photograph is a product of chance. While I was weeding a patch in my garden the grey heron settled on the roof of my neighbor’s greenhouse and watched me work. Luckily, I had my camera handy. And – click – that’s how this picture came to be.
